Learning a language is also about reading the world, feeling it, and participating in it

Affective multiliteracy for the learning of languages in adults

AMALLE investigates new ways of teaching and learning additional languages in adult, multilingual and culturally diverse contexts.

Research on second language learning has largely focused on young students. However, contemporary social transformations have highlighted the need to broaden this focus to include... adult second language literacy, especially in contexts marked by migratory processes.
