He holds a degree in Mathematics, specializing in Statistics, from the University of Seville, where he also earned his PhD. Since 2015, he has been affiliated with the Department of Mathematics Education. His research interests include socio-emotional aspects of mathematics teaching, PISA analysis, and bibliometric analysis of scientific output in education.
