José Manuel Foncubierta Muriel

He holds a PhD in Linguistics (KU Leuven University) and a PhD in Social Sciences and Education (University of Huelva), summa cum laude (2020) – jointly supervised. He also holds a Master's degree in Teacher Training in Spanish, specializing in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, from the University of Alcalá (2011) and a Bachelor's degree in Hispanic Philology from the University of Cádiz (1999). His medium- and long-term scientific interests and objectives include two lines of research: the affective factors in learning an additional language and the study of the reading process in additional languages.
