He holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of Oviedo. He has been a professor at the University of Huelva since 1997 and a full-time lecturer since 2002. His main areas of expertise are Psycholinguistics, Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Neuropsychology, Decision-Making, and others. He has published numerous articles in JCR-indexed journals and participated in various national and international conferences. He has also been involved in several research projects. Currently, his participation in the AMALLE project "is a very interesting challenge, as it is the first time I have worked on adult literacy, which is particularly interesting when those adults are of foreign origin.".
